West Suffolk Hospital

We have been fortunate enough to have been working for Barnes Construction at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St. Edmunds for the last few years. The hospital has undergone a major refurbishment over that period, with strengthening works having taken place to the hospital roofs and a complete overhaul of the hospital’s plant, services, pipework, cables, ducting, etc. During these ongoing works, we have fabricated and installed hundreds of metres of galvanised steel maintenance walkways on the roof, complete with GRP flooring panels, access stairs, platforms, step-overs, handrails, guardrails, ladders and many other items of bespoke metalwork as and when required.
